After almost eight years of marriage, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced this Monday their separation, however, it came to light the complicated moment they went through that led to the breakup.
The couple was involved in an argument that in most cases can not reach an agreement that leaves both satisfied; Manganiello had plans to have children, but Vergara did not.
Although both announced that their separation was decided in an atmosphere of love: "as two people who love each other and care very much, we politely ask that our privacy be respected," they told Page Six at the time, two days later Joe filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, Joe sent the divorce papers on Wednesday night, when the actress was returning from her trip to Italy to celebrate her 51st birthday.

'Sofia is living her best life. She's spending time with friends after being stifled in a relationship with a largely unsupportive partner. Sofia was always there to look after Joe, while his career was never what it was when they met. I think he has been threatened by her success and joy in life'.
