"Such is life. It’s happened to many artists, so I feel like I’ve paid my dues and I’m part of some secret club now, you know?" Jonas said. Well, everybody poops, and I feel like everybody has a wild poop story. It's part of being human, so in the spirit of "everybody poops," here are seven other celebrities who have talked about pooping their pants.
"It was like, midway through a performance, and I was like, really, like, lively."
"And halfway through, I was like, 'Well, I'm just going to stand still for the rest of this performance and hope it's over soon, then go home and throw these trousers out.'"
3. Ty Burrell soiled his pants in Times Square after being so anxious meeting with his agent for the first time.
“I shook his hand, walked out into Times Square, and soiled myself,” he wrote in a New York Times column. He continued walking to McDonald's and said, “There I threw my underwear in the garbage."
"I now had no underwear and, bizarrely, none of the anxiety I had felt mere moments before."
He told Nancy Snyderman on Dateline, "Not horribly, but enough that I knew... So, I was panicking. So, I got to the restroom of the press room, threw out the underwear, and just went commando."
"When you have a bypass and your bowel has been reconstructed, you think you're pretty safe. I probably went off and ate something I wasn't supposed to," he continued.
"I had a couple of morning meetings, a couple of different cups of coffee, different blends. And the last meeting was a fruit smoothie. I'm like, 'Oh, oh no, this caterpillar wants to turn into a butterfly.'"
He recounted, "I get in front of my house, and I'm like, 'I'm not gonna make it.' And then, I just fill my underwear with a travel-sized pillow worth of brisket."
6. Kumail Nanjiani also told a poop story to Conan about a time he pooped in his costume.
He was wearing the wardrobe for the show he was waiting to go on in his trailer. He was playing Temple Run when he noticed he had pooped his pants.
He said, "One moment there was no poop in my pants, it actually felt like someone else pooped my pants."
She told the hosts of UK's KISS FM, "Ed Sheeran was playing at the Hollywood Bowl, and there was so much traffic! I was very uncomfortable, let’s say, down there."
"So, I will say that it was the first time that I had maybe soiled my pants a bit."
8. Finally, H. Jon Benjamin talked about pooping in a rental car to Aisha Tyler on her podcast.
After a late flight, a wrong turn, and a stop at a store with no bathroom, H. Jon Benjamin recounts that he "went into a fugue state" before "it was over" while driving. He said, "I was a mess. I didn't just shit my pants, I shit my car. I was in a puddle in my car."
He continued to the hotel and tried to stealthily grab his bag and head to the lobby bathroom, only to pull up, turn his lights off, grab his bag, and have his door opened by the valet! "He opened the door like, 'Welcome to th—.' It cut him off mid-sentence because it was unbelievable. The stench was awful."
