Jane Fonda attended the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France and presented Justine Triet as the winner of the Palme d'Or to later throw her the award's scroll when she left the podium.
As director Justine Triet won the Palme d'Or for her film "Anatomy of the Fall" she gave a few words addressing the honor of the award, however, the emotion must've been high as she completely forgot about the scroll that was included in the award box.
Right after Justine Triet left the podium, legendary actress Jane Fonda called her but the director did not hear her, so Fonda acted on instinct and threw the certificate at her.
The scroll flew in the air in Justine's direction and it seemed it hit her head but it was not enough for the winning director to turn around and pick it up.
Jane Fonda recently shared her inner thoughts about Robert Redford
While at the Cannes Festival, she also had the opportunity to have a chat at a conference where she spoke about her lengthy career including what she thought about Michael Douglas, and Robert Redford, as well as speaking openly about what it was to work with her father.
While speaking about Robert Redford, she claimed that she was in love with him but "He did not like to kiss" and "I never said anything [to him about it]. And he's always in a bad mood, and I always thought it was my fault."
The Grace & Frankie actress addressed her experience working with her father Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn "It was one of the most glorious experiences of my life. It was absolutely wonderful," Fonda elaborated "I made the movie for my father. But the person who I learned from in that movie was Katharine."
