The Carolina Hurricanes went there. And apparently they took the New Jersey Turnpike.
The Hurricanes used Cameo to get congratulations videos from New Jersey celebrities after defeating the New Jersey Devils in Game 5 of Eastern Conference Second Round on Thursday.
Carolina shared the video, which featured "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, New York Jets super fan Fireman Ed, "Cake Boss" star Mauro Castano and "The Sopranos" actors Vincent Curatola and Federico Castelluccio, on social media.
Each celebrity - perhaps unknowingly - congratulated Carolina for moving on to the next round of the playoffs.
Cameo, a site where fans can pay to get personalized videos from their favorite celebrities, has been around since 2016.
The Hurricanes social team weren't done having fun for the night, tweeting out some lyrics to "Livin' on a Prayer" by New Jersey band Bon Jovi to describe where they are at in their chase for the Stanley Cup.
Looks like Carolina did their research on the state of New Jersey.
