Dylan Mulvaney won Breakout Creator at the 2023 Streamy Awards on Sunday night at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and finished her acceptance speech by seemingly poking fun at the Bud Light situation.
Mulvaney, 26, spoke about how she is still receiving backlash over the Bud Light ordeal that placed her under the spotlight. Conservatives were not happy when the beer company sent the transgender social media star a customized can.

During her acceptance speech, Mulvaney said she is living a great life, except for all the "transphobia and hate" that right wing personalities still perpetuate.
"I'm really shocked because I thought the only award I'd ever win was maybe a Tony Award but now I'm a musical theater gal with a Streamy," Mulvaney said while accepting the award. "532 days ago, I made a coming-out video that turned into my 'Days of Girlhood' series, and my life has been changed for the better.
"But on the flip side, there's also been an extreme amount of transphobia and hate, and I know that my community is feeling it."

Mulvaney received a standing ovation at the 13th annual Streamy Awards as she called for allies "to support trans people publicly and proudly."
"I'm gonna go have a beer," Mulvany said while walking off the stage.
Conservatives stopped buying Bud Light after the Mulvaney situation and the beer company turned their back on her.
Some believe it was a jab at all those who have attacked her over something as trivial as a beer can, but also to Bud Light, who Mulvaney has even condemned amid the hate. She never mentioned the comapany by name during the acceptance speech.
