HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Casey Bishop, a teen from Southwest Florida, hit the official American Idol stage on Sunday night.
Bishop chose to sing House of the Rising Sun by The Animals.
“I love the song,” she said. “It gives like an eerie weird feeling like when I listen to it and I like songs that make me feel like that I don’t know why.”
ABC7 caught up with Bishop to talk about her Hollywood performance before it aired on national television.
“There’s definitely more pressure but it’s definitely more exciting because it’s a real stage,” she said.
Bishop blew away all three judges, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry, with her initial audition. Now, she said that she’s ready to take the world by storm.
