One brand that’s paving the way for an effortless silk look is Lilysilk, a brand that has been worn by Bionic Woman star Lucy Hale, who recently wore the brand in a recent post to her following of 24.5m Instagram followers.

This chic, effortless and comfortable look is from the brand’s spring collection, called Blooming Art In You, and the star wears their SOS Shirt in Lily White, their trademark scarf and their wide-legged silk fig pant to complete the outfit.

In fact, when it comes to silk, Lilysilk has a strong A-List celeb game, having been recently worn by Nina Dobrev, Meghan Trainor, Melissa Rauch and Gwenyth Paltrow, who said the brand’s silk pajamas “make it too easy for a girl to stay in bed all morning,” according to Lilysilk’s brand lead Wendy Zhang.

In fact, the inspiration for this spring look is lifted from the roaring 1920s. “We are inspired by 1920s art deco, and borrowed motifs from this era into our spring collection,” she said. “Every piece manifests modern romance in an everlasting elegance.”

The looks for the new spring collection are part-leisurewear, part-formalwear with an understated glamor. A silk blouse can be worn with denim, cut-off shorts or with a midi-skirt. The longer Lilysilk blouse can be dressed up with heels for a nighttime look.

“The classic art deco style adds femininity to your wardrobe, while high quality silk brings the glam in every level,” says Zhang. “It’s effortless elegance.”

Wearing silk is fun; it allows your skin to breathe, and works best with a draped, relaxed fit. Silk looks great when worn as a pattern. But it’s no easy feat. Zhang recommends wearing this luxury fabric the right way. “Everyone needs a ready-to-wear spring essential, either the flawless Daisy dress with feminine pleats, or a pullover Peony blouse, the best silk is free-flowing and light,” she says.

As part of the brand’s sustainable efforts, they use 100% recycled packaging for all shipment orders and work with TerraCycle, a waste management company, to use their production waste for new products. They also limit production, to not waste raw materials or overproduce

As for Hale’s own head to toe silk look, it’s one of the top trends for spring, she says. “An oversized shirt and pair of fig pants, plus our LilyScarf—we cannot imagine a more perfect look in spring,” said Zhang. “She successfully mixes luxurious aesthetics, everyday comfort and art deco style.”
