HOLLYWOOD — A large tree fell Wednesday onto Laurel Canyon Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills, blocking the roadway but resulting in no injuries.
Firefighters were sent to the 2400 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard about 9:35 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It was unclear what caused the tree to topple over.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews were sent the scene to repair power lines damaged when the tree fell, the LAFD reported.
