Hollywood — Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's 'What If' series, showcasing what Tinsel Town could have been — has a stand out performance from Jim Parsons.
The Big Bang Theory alum plays Henry Willson, a booking agent based on the real-life talent scout who launched the career of Rock Hudson — and he's quite different from anything we've seen from Parsons so far.
Showing off his transformation into the character, Parsons posted an Instagram time-lapse video from the make-up chair to say thanks to the "gifted" hair and make-up artists who worked on the series.

He captioned the video: "As long as I'm posting, I would really love to share this vid of the makeup process for @hollywoodnetflix.
"The people in that makeup trailer were so gifted and were truly my family throughout the filming.
"Especially @somemonsterism @m_ceglia @georgeguzman @barryleemoe and Gabby (who I can't find on IG) along with the rest of the crew in there who, truly, made my experience playing this character the joy that it was. Love and thanks to all of them."

Willson was a pretty disgraceful man and the show doesn't hold back in showing all of his more heinous character traits, so it's interesting to see just how the actor transforms into him.
The seven-part Netflix series also stars, Glee's Darren Criss, The Politician's David Corenswet and stage and screen legend Patti LuPone.
Hollywood is streaming now on Netflix.
