Pete Davidson has opted to pull out of a series of his comedy shows without giving much of a reason, leaving fans disappointed and worried in equal measure.
The comedian and actor has pulled the plug on his performances at the Beacon Theatre on Friday and Saturday in New York City, with one instance coming just hours before the show was due to begin.

The theater sent emails to fans and ticketholders informing them that Davidson would not be performing due to 'unforeseen circumstances', with a full refund promised within 30 days of the show.
But that was little consolation for comedy lovers who were looking forward to seeing the 30-year-old in the flesh.
One fan complained that they had set off for their journey when they heard of the show being abandoned. They wrote: "Was literally about to walk out the door for the pete davidson show just to see it was canceled 2.5 hours before the show started..... rip this week is not going my way."
Another said: "Was excited to see Pete Davidson tonight but his show just got canceled."
No word from Pete Davidson
The canceled shows continue through to the New Year, meaning Davidson will not be seen on the stage in 2023 and there is now doubts emerging over his future dates next year.
It appears Pete also scrapped his shows scheduled for December 26 through to January 4 in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Wisconsin. The shows are now labeled as 'canceled' on the Ticketmaster website.
Davidson is yet to offer a public comment or explanation behind his decision. The actor has been open in documenting his battle with mental health issues before.
He has also spoken about the pain of losing his father, firefighter Scott Davidson, in the 9/11 attack when he was just seven years of age, and as an adult has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD).
