Naturally, the stars like to shine on Halloween too.
Although wearing a costume is part of an actor’s everyday job in Hollywood, there are many — such as the self-titled Queen of Halloween Heidi Klum — who wait until the very last day of October to show how much they love the spooky season.
Several A-list celebrities have shown their Halloween and Hollywood pride by dressing up as other stars in their industry — including Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Jessica Biel and more.
Despite some of these costumes being in the past, the impact they’ve left on pop culture still carries on today.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee (2022)
Megan Fox and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, caused a tidal wave of anger after the pair dressed up as the actress Pamela Anderson and the equally famous musician Tommy Lee for the 2022 Casamigos party.
Fox, 37, and Kelly, 33, posted several photos of their costume on social media. Fans immediately slammed them for releasing a video showing the “Bloody Valentine” singer snorting powder off of Fox’s breast.
The couple, who have been engaged since January 2022, followed up the act with Kelly dressing as a priest and Fox as a leashed, sexualized worshiper.
Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari as J. Howard Marshall and Anna Nicole Smith (2022)
Josh Duhamel and his now-wife, Audra Mari, stunned many partygoers after the pair showed up at the 2022 Casamigos party poking fun at the age gap between themselves and the late Anna Nicole Smith and her second husband, J. Howard Marshall.
Duhamel, 50, showed up to the star-studded party wearing a grey suit and patterned tie while carrying a walker.
The actor completed the look by adding a pair of beige slippers and a bald cap that sported tufts of gray hair on the sides.
Mari, 29, got the former Playboy bunny’s look down pat by sporting a voluptuous blond wig and a small, black, rhinestone-encrusted dress.
Alessia Cara as Amy Winehouse (2021)
Cara was “addicted” to Amy Winehouse, so it made sense she would go as her muse for Halloween in 2021.
The singer, who won the 2018 Grammy for “Best New Artist,” shocked her Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) followers in 2021 when she transformed into the late musician.
Donning a bright blue bra and sheer white top, Cara, 27, managed to complete the look with a beehive hairdo, fake tattoos, red bandana and heavy eye makeup.
“She is always going to be an idol of mine, continuously throughout my life,”Cara told Bustle magazine in September 2021. “I always look to her for musical guidance and lyrical guidance.”
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian as Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen (2021)
The oldest Kardashian sister and her Blink-182 drummer beau, Travis Barker, rocked and rolled Instagram after Kardashian, 44, posted a photo of her and Barker as Nancy Spungen and Sex Pistols frontman Sid Vicious.
Kardashian channeled her inner punk princess while donning a curly blond wig, mesh shirt, black bra and leather pants.
“’till death do us part,” Kardashian’s Instagram post read, showing off the couple’s edgy costumes.
Barker, 47, donned a black spiky wig complete with a black shirt, choker, leather jacket and pants, completing the rocker look by adding a studded belt.
In an effort to completely transform into the late rocker, Barker managed to conceal the tattoos that covered both his neck and face.
Posting his own snap of him and his reality star wife, the drummer captioned the photo: “Throw away the key.”
Jennifer Lopez as Madonna (2020)
We are seeing two Material Girls!
Jennifer Lopez vogued her way into one of the top Halloween costumes of 2020 after dressing like the Queen of Pop in her eternally iconic “Like a Virgin” music video.
Complete with white lace gloves and a “Boy Toy” belt, the “Hustlers” star was ready to give Madonna, 65, a run for her money.
Even though several people were in awe of Lopez’s outfit, several others wondered if she felt “odd” about dressing as Alex Rodriguez’s former flame at the time. (Rodriguez and Lopez called off their engagement in 2021.)
“No. I mean, it was so long ago, so long ago,” Lopez, 54, said to Andy Cohen when asked about the outfit. “I don’t know. No, it wasn’t weird at all. I loved it.”
Rodriguez, who allegedly dated Madonna in 2008, dressed up as Bruce Springsteen that year.
Jessica Biel as Justin Timberlake ( 2019)
The couples costume was tearing up people’s hearts.
Jessica Biel got a little taste of her husband’s *NSYNC days when she dressed as Timberlake for the star-studded Casamigos Halloween Party in 2019.
Donning a sandy brown curly wig, a metallic green jumpsuit and sunglasses, Biel, 41, was ready to say “Bye, Bye, Bye” to any haters.
Timberlake, 42, accompanied his wife to the party as her trusty microphone … quite literally.
The boy band frontman donned a black microphone suit, a massive head piece and black sunglasses.
David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (2019)
The undisputed kings when it comes to Halloween, David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris decided to go for double the trouble and dress as fashion moguls Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.
Harris, 50, and Burtka, 48, showed up to Heidi Klum’s Halloween bash dressed in head-to-toe black and matching sandy blonde wings.
Both Harris and Burtka were spotted sucking in their cheeks for members of the press while showing off their black nail polish and bulky black purses.
The duo were later spotted smoking cigarettes on the red carpet in true Olsen twin fashion.
Harry Styles as Elton John (2018)
Former One Directioner Harry Styles knocked this Elton John costume out of the park during the Casamigos Halloween Party in 2018.
Styles, 29 paid homage to the “Tiny Dancer” singer through his sequined LA Dodgers costume, which was a replica of the one worn by John, 76, during the 1975 concert at Dodger’s Stadium.
John later reposted the photo of Styles on Instagram, telling the “Watermelon Sugar” singer: “Now that’s what I call a Halloween costume.”
Rita Ora as Post Malone ( 2018)
While Heidi Klum might be regarded as the Queen of Halloween, Rita Ora came very close to stealing her crown after dressing as rapper Post Malone in 2018.
Ora, 32, shocked attendees at the Kiss Haunted House Party by how much effort the singer put into the costume.
From Malone’s iconic and recognizable facial tattoos, to his diamond teeth and denim jacket with his name embossed on the fabric, it was clear that Ora put a ton of effort into her outfit.
“@PostMalone I LOVE you bro,” Ora later posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Surprised Wembley as you tonight at my show my fans didn’t even recognise me LOL.”
Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban as Cher and Sonny (2017)
We cannot “Believe” how close Kim looks to Cher.
Kim Kardashian, 43, and her friend Jonathan Cheban, 49, attempted to turn back time in 2017 when they attended the Casamigos Tequila Halloween party as Cher and her late husband, Sonny Bono.
Kardashian, who is no stranger to re-creating iconic looks, stunned in a yellow crop top and pants while wearing a wig that partially concealed big hoop earrings that would make even the Goddess of Pop do a double take.
The outfit brought back memories of when the “Strong Enough” singer attended the 1973 Academy Awards.
Cheban, who legally changed his name to Foodgod, was a dead ringer for the late musician. He wore a plum-colored suit, black bow-tie and sported a fake mustache and bowl hair cut.
