LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – An officer-involved shooting occurred in Hollywood Thursday morning.

The shooting involving Los Angeles police occurred at 11:24 a.m. in the area of Hollywood Boulevard and Cherokee Avenue, about a block from the Egyptian Theatre.
The circumstances of the shooting and the number of people struck was unclear. There was no immediate word of any injuries to officers.
