John Mulaney received an outpouring of support after Page Six exclusively revealed on Monday that he’d gone to rehab following a relapse.
Olivia Munn and Patton Oswalt were among the stars who penned well wishes via Twitter to Mulaney, who checked into a Pennsylvania rehab facility over the weekend for cocaine and alcohol abuse.
“Sending SO MUCH love and support to John Mulaney. You got this,” Munn tweeted.
Oswalt, meanwhile, sent his best with a series of hearts and tagged the “SNL” alum.
Mulaney, 38, has been open about his substance abuse issues, and first became sober at the age of 23. A source told us the comic “has struggled again during the pandemic.”
“He’s on board with his recovery, he’s not fighting against rehab,” the source said.
Sports personality Katie Nolan acknowledged the pandemic and tweeted about Mulaney, “Let the news of john mulaney be a reminder to us all that we are going through a collective trauma with this pandemic, and for many of us that’s on top of struggles we were already having. check on your people. asking for help isn’t cowardly, it’s courageous.”
Stand-up comic Dan Telfer, meanwhile, said, “Nothing but good cheer and support for @mulaney, who is the best at everything he does, including the slaying of personal demons. You are human and you got this.”
Mulaney is married to Annamarie Tendler, who deleted her Instagram account prior to the comedian entering rehab.
