Naya Rivera’s “Glee” co-stars and other celebrities are sharing prayers and tributes to the actress — who is presumed dead after vanishing while boating on a California lake.
Harry Shum Jr., who played Mike Chang on the hit Fox musical series, tweeted, “Praying.”
“Sick to my stomach. Please pray,” wrote Damian McGinty, who played Rory Flanagan.
Iqbal Theba — aka Principal Figgins — tweeted, “Oh God… mercy… please…” with a link about Rivera’s disappearance.
Demi Lovato, who played Dani, the girlfriend of Rivera’s character Santana Lopez on the hit TV show, posted a photo of a lit candle on her Instagram story.
“Please pray for @nayarivera to be found safe and sound,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer wrote.
Heather Morris also asked for prayers on Instagram.
“We need all the prayers we can get to bring our Naya back home to us,” Morris wrote about her former onscreen girlfriend. “We need your love and light.”
Publicist Zack Teperman said Rivera was one of the first people he worked with in Hollywood.
“I am in complete disbelief and shock right now as I post this,” he tweeted with photos of the two. “I still can’t believe what I’m hearing and hoping it isn’t true. I’m just sad.”
Other tributes poured in from “Glee” actors including Max Adler and Vanessa Lengies.
Actress Jackée Harry also tweeted her love for Rivera, who was just 4 years old when she appeared with Harry in the short-lived sitcom “The Royal Family.”
“Prayers up for the lovely Naya Rivera,” Harry wrote. “We starred alongside one another in her first very television series, The Royal Family, and I’ve watched her career blossom ever since. Please God, don’t cut this life short.”
Rivera was with her 4-year-old son Josey when she rented the pontoon boat at around 1 p.m. Another boater found Josey alone and asleep on the vessel at about 4 p.m., officials said. The boy was wearing a life vest at the time, while an adult vest was found on the boat.
Josey told authorities he and his mother went swimming but she never returned to the boat.
Josey’s father is actor Ryan Dorsey. He and Rivera were married for four years before divorcing in 2018.
Rivera’s ex-fiance Big Sean liked a series of tweets calling for her safe return. The pair became engaged in 2013 after six months of dating, though they broke it off the following year.
